The Oxygenius Ozonator by Dr Clark Zentrum is an ozone generator for home use to disinfect and sterilise a range of household items.
What is Ozone?Ozone (03) is a completely natural, colourless gas with a distinct, fresh odour, similar to the “ fresh, clean, spring rain” smell that we notice after a storm. Ozone occurs quite readily in nature, as a result of lightning strikes during thunderstorms and when the ultraviolet rays of the sun react with the Earth’s upper atmosphere, (which creates a protective ozone layer). It is a natural molecule made up of 3 atoms of oxygen.
Ozone is one of the most powerful sterilising agents in the world, up to five times more potent that molecular chlorine in destroying germs, bacteria, and viruses. Once generated, ozone is quite unstable, one of the three oxygen atoms eagerly splits off the molecule and attaches itself to any particle or pollutant with which it comes in contact. It has a very short “active” life and so to be useful it must be made freshly on site.
When used properly ozonators provide a wide range of uses as a disinfectant and steriliser. Anything you must clean, neutralise, or deodorise will benefit from ozonated water, including:
- Sterilising sponges
- Sanitising bedding
- Soaking dentures
- Purifying drinking water
- Sterilising kitchen/bathroom items
- Remove pet odors
- Deodorising dirty laundry
- Controlling household smells
A) 1 x Oxygenius Ozonator generating approximately 300mg/hr
B) 2 x Ozonating Stones: a large round stone, typically used to ozonate water and to ozonate liquid containers with large openings; and a smaller “cylinder” shaped stone, ideally used for small necked containers and for ozonating natural vegetable oils, such as olive oil.
C) 2 x Plastic tubes to be affixed to the ozone output vent in order to ozonate liquids.
D) 2 x Mounting screws for wall mounting if desired (not necessary or recommended)
